AWARDS FOR ALL
Epsom Camera Club has been successful with their submission for an "Awards for All" grant (i.e. Lottery money). With the grant money the club has purchased a Canon XEED SX50 digital projector and a Dell Inspiron 9300 laptop computer, plus associated hardware and software. With this equipment Epsom Camera Club will be able to:
1. Provide existing and new members and the wider local community with assistance and tuition in all aspects of digital photography and audiovisual arts. This will be achieved by means of formal and informal workshops, led by experienced club members and invited guest speakers/lecturers.
2. Promote digital photography in the local community through the provision of a comprehensive programme of events. This includes talks, workshops, an annual exhibition and trips, all of which are aimed at encouraging participants to improve their skills and expand their photographic horizons.
3.Provide a pool of photographic expertise and associated digital equipment that local groups and organisations such as schools, museums and charities can call upon.
