Natural World Photographic Society has been running about 2 years and has held its first Open Competition. Judged by Roger Reynolds Hon FRPS FBPPA FBPE APAGB two members achieved awards - Penny Anderson LRPS in the Digital Section: Best Flora : Autumn Leaf, 2nd Fauna: Wasp and Rosemary Wilman ARPS BPE5* in the Slide Section Best Landscape: Camelthorn Skeletons, Dead Vlei. Prints of the winning images will be displayed at the NWPS Exhibition in March (details at www.nwps.co.uk)
Woking Photographic Society this year invited Don Byatt ARPS MPAGB EFIAP
BPE5* to judge The Surrey Advertiser Rosebowl Competition. The Club's 5 slides
by Alan Lewell, Barry Reid, Robert Tate, Tony Troman ARPS APAGB and Rosemary
Wilman ARPS BPE5* placed us 8th= and in the Best Individual Slide Rosemary
was Runner-Up with Dead Vlei
Following her latest results from the Southport Exhibition Rosemary has topped
300 acceptances within the BPE (British Photographic Exhibitions) circuit
for which she achieves her BPE5*.
Rosemary Wilman won the PSA Gold Medal for the Best Travel Slide in the 2006
Smethwick International Exhibition with Spirit
of the Himalayas.
